Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling
Making a Booking
Appointments can be made by phone, email or in person. We recommend a phone booking in advance to secure your preferred time, though walk-ins are welcome subject to availability. Note response times may be much longer for email requests.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes circumstances change. We ask you give us as much notice a possible. We are happy to also reschedule if required.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, however your session may be shortened to avoid disrupting subsequent appointments. The full fee will still apply.
Payment Terms
Payment Method
Payment is required in full at the time of your appointment. We accept:
- Cash
- EFTPOS
- Visa and Mastercard

Current service pricing is displayed on our Services page and at our clinic. Prices are subject to change with notice.
Client Information & Health Disclosure
Health Questionnaire
For your safety and to ensure the most beneficial session, all new clients must provide accurate information about their health status, including:
- Medical conditions and health concerns
- Current injuries or areas of pain
- Allergies (particularly to oils or lotions)
- Pregnancy status
Updates Required
It is your responsibility to inform your massage therapist of any changes to your health status at the beginning of each session. This ensures your safety and allows us to tailor the session to your current needs.
Informed Consent
By booking and attending a massage session, you provide your informed consent to receive massage services and acknowledge that you have disclosed all relevant health information.
Scope of Services & Important Disclaimer
Our massage services are provided for relaxation and general wellness purposes. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease.
Massage is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional. If you have a medical condition, injury, or health concern, please consult with your doctor or healthcare provider before booking a massage.
Individual results and experiences may vary. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes from our services.
Professional Conduct & Boundaries
Non-Sexual Service
All massage services provided at Surry Hills Massage Clinic are strictly therapeutic and non-sexual in nature. Any inappropriate behaviour, sexual advances, or harassment towards our staff will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Appropriate draping will be maintained at all times to ensure your comfort and dignity. Underwear must be worn for all sessions.
Right to Refuse Service
Our massage therapists reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if they deem it unsafe, inappropriate, or if client behaviour is disrespectful or falls outside professional boundaries.
Communication During Session
Your comfort and safety are our priority. Please inform your massage therapist immediately if:
- You experience any pain or discomfort
- The pressure is too firm or too light
- You would like any area avoided
- You need the session to stop for any reason
Your Rights as a Client
You have the right to:
- A clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Keep on as much clothing as you feel comfortable wearing
- Request that certain areas of the body be avoided during the massage
- Stop a session at any time for any reason
- Be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism
- Provide feedback about your experience
- Privacy and confidentiality of your personal information
Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and wellbeing, you acknowledge that massage services carry inherent risks. We will not be liable for any adverse reaction or injury that occurs as a result of:
- Failure to disclose relevant health information
- Failure to follow pre or post-session advice
- Pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed to your massage therapist
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
Privacy & Confidentiality
All personal and health information collected is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Your information will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are valid for [12 MONTHS] from the date of purchase
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced
- Vouchers must be presented on arrival
- Cancellation and Late Arrival policies apply
Changes to Services
We reserve the right to:
- Modify service offerings, pricing, and operating hours with reasonable notice
- Substitute massage therapists due to illness, emergency, or unavailability
- Cancel or reschedule appointments in emergency situations (we will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule)
